Shaws Circular - Shaw's and Star Market are two American store chain based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, employing about 30,000 employees in 154 stores. One hundred thirty-two stores operated under the banner Shaw in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, while the Star Market operates 22 stores in Massachusetts. Until 2010, Shaw operated stores in all six New England states and in 2011 Shaw remains the only supermarket chain with stores in five of six after the sale of its Connecticut operations. chain biggest competitor is Hannaford, Market Basket, Roche Bros. and Stop & Shop. Star Market is a companion to Shaw's stores; Shaw has bought the chain to compete in 1999.

The combined chain has the largest base of stores operating in New England, but is the third largest behind Quincy, Massachusetts-based Maine-based Stop & Shop and Shaws Circular operates a store in New York while the Stop & Shop operation extends to New Jersey; Shaw only do business solely in New England.
